THE Land Development Agency (LDA) has confirmed it is in talks with Glenveagh Properties about partnering on its ambitious 1,000-apartment Marina project, which is set to increase in size.

During a site visit to the former St Kevin’s Hospital in Shanakiel, where the LDA is driving Cork city’s biggest public housing project since the 1980s, Phelim O’Neill, the agency’s head of property, confirmed discussions with Glenveagh are “ongoing”.
