Cork's two towers: PJ Hegarty to reprise Elysian 20 years on at taller 85m high Railyard tower

Aparments for cost rental and social occupiers due for delivery in September 2027, almost 20 years after the Elysian was completed by the same contractors PJ Hegarty

WORK on Ireland’s tallest tower, for an 85 metre high apartment tower, on the former Sextant pub/Carey tool site, is slated to start next month, with a two-year delivery timeline to September 2027 facing contractors, PJ Hegarty – the same firm that built the adjacent Elysian tower which competed in 2008.
