Atkins DIY Clonakilty has a long pedigree, and sold for c €1m to a local buyer

WEST CORK institution, Atkins DIY in the heart of Clonakilty and with a 150 year business pedigree has found a local buyer - West Cork Building Suppliers.

One a 0.6 acre town centre site with historic four-storey eight bay warehouse, Atkins DIY was put for sale in summer 2023 attracting widespread interest, said agent Kieran O’Gorman, including for residential development but found a business buyer who it is understood will initially at least use it for storage.
