AS the country’s vacancy rate for commercial properties climbed to its highest level since 2013, just five Irish counties bucked the trend by recording a decline in vacancy, with Cork being the only Munster county to do so.

The commercial vacancy rate in Ireland stood at 14.3% in the last quarter of 2023, up marginally by 0.3 percentage points since Q4 in 2022.
