This sale will bag you the keys for both house and car

A REAL turnkey job, but you’ll need a fist of keys to make use of this one: a Polish man and his family, living in Youghal for the last number of years, are going home to Poland, selling their house, and are throwing contents, furniture and even the family car into the sale bargain — all for €250,000.

The ‘take it, I’m leaving, package’, a three-bed semi with all the trimmings up near the GAA pitch in the east Cork town, is on the market with estate agent Adrian Hyde of Padraig Hyde and Co auctioneers in Youghal.

The house, No 10 Ard na Mara, is about 1,000 sq ft, and there’s a further 40 sq ft or so (including seating) of internal space in the car, a 2002 Opel Vectra.

The job lot, complete with parking and gardens, is new to the market, and is good value, says Mr Hyde.

“This is one of the most complete ‘turnkey’ houses on the market — truly the complete property package!” he says, “we look forward to handing over the keys to both house and car for this sale.”

The occupants have bags packed, ready for road, minus the wine-coloured Vectra, which has 56,000 miles on the clock.

The family have been in Ireland since the early 2000s, and have just decided it is time to move back to their native country.

Their home is described as in immaculate condition, with a 20’ long living room leading to a kitchen/dining room which has patio access. Overhead one of the three bedrooms is en-suite. For €250,000, you can drive a deal, grab a fist of keys and haggle for a full tank of juice into the bargain.
