A period-style classic modeled on its stately neighbours

FASHIONS come and go, but period-style classics live forever.

That’s to paraphrase estate agent Peter Cave of CB Hamilton Osborne King, who has a second-hand four-bed semi up for sale with a €450,000 price guide, and a stream of viewers and bidders already on hand because of the house in question.

One of the first re-sales of the semi-detached homes in the Lindville development in Cork city’s Blackrock Road suburb of Ballintemple, is no 15, a fine example of the Victorian-style species with designs closely based on 100 and 150-year-old neighbouring homes.
