Question of priorities
I had no interest in the wedding itself, and I see it as none of my, or anybody else’s, business who got invited, who got to take the photos, etc.
However, the one issue that disturbed me was the cost of the day: wedding rings 200,000, security 100,000, dress 10,000, and so on.
Call me a cynic, but that’s not romantic. It’s vulgar and, in my opinion, wrong to spend that kind of money on one day when countless millions of others on the same planet are literally dying for want of basics.
