I WISH to comment on the much publicised wedding of Georgina Ahern and Nicky Byrne.

I had no interest in the wedding itself, and I see it as none of my, or anybody else’s, business who got invited, who got to take the photos, etc.

However, the one issue that disturbed me was the cost of the day: wedding rings 200,000, security 100,000, dress 10,000, and so on.
