Our housing crisis: Council well off national pace
One of the greatest allies Boris Johnson and his cavalier Brexiteers have is the frustration of those who voted Leave. Negotiations, or at least pretend negotiations, have dragged on for so long that the frustration of being denied has almost assumed more force than the frustrations of EU membership.
Unfortunately, the very same principle might be applied to our accelerating housing crisis. Every day brings another record of poor performance, while the number of homeless people grows relentlessly. Frustration grows in direct proportion to the failure to make real inroads into this deepening social crisis.
