Greens in conference: A green light

It would have been unimaginable that the Green Party would have reached any conclusion other than the one it did at its weekend conference when it decided that, should the opportunity arise, entering government was the most effective way to address the climate emergency.

That prospect feeds on the momentum that the swing to green politics all across Europe may help align programmes urgently needed to try to avert climate chaos.
