Drug firm payments to doctors - Secrecy hides a sick system
When a person watches, say, one of those TV programmes on remodeling a house or maybe restoring a car that person should, in an ideal, transparent world, be able to take any advice offered at face value.
Watching such a programme should not leave a viewer open to accusations of naivety if they imagine these programmes give nothing but independent, objective advice. However, that is the case, sadly. Some programme-makers work hand-in-glove with manufacturers to promote various products.
