AIB plays Big Brother - Bad behaviour

Banks in Ireland have such a bad reputation that it came as no surprise to learn of AIB’s plans to spy on its customers through social media.

Mortgage broker Karl Deeter’s revelation that applicants for a mortgage were required to give the bank access to their social media accounts sparked such outrage that AIB was forced to drop the plan to play Big Brother with its customers.
