Inflation index is strictly for dopeheads

My blood pressure rises when I read of alcoholic drinks and tobacco being included in the inflation index.

In recent years there has been occasional mention that consideration was being given to removing these items when calculating the rate of inflation. However, nothing has been done.

Are we approaching the time when the cost of cocaine and heroin will be included? It’s ridiculous.
