This alarming revelation by a support group representing 600 families affected by the killer bacteria, comes hot on the heels of shock findings that 91% of the country’s hospitals fell short of acceptable norms of hygiene while 48% were “poor”.

The unconfirmed death toll will send alarm bells ringing especially since cleanliness has ceased to be the watchword of good health in many hospitals.
