Solution to dispute must be found

Yesterday, the doctors, members of the Irish Medical Organisation, voted to issue one week’s strike notice for nationwide action to begin in 10 days’ time in a dispute over pay and on-call services.

These doctors are crucial in controlling infectious diseases and their services simply cannot be dispensed with.
