Farmers join queue for more money
As the convoy prepared to move out of Merrion Square to return to their homes all over the country, IFA leader John Dillon declared that they had got their message on fallen incomes and the plight of farm families across to the Government and the people.
With their departure came their five-point demand to the Government - which they regard as openers - which endeavours to reclaim the standard of income which they maintain has fallen drastically.
