Circumcision death - Tragedy must not happen again

The person suspected of performing the Waterford circumcision with such tragic consequences this week is believed to have performed three other circumcisions on the same day.

Such procedures, carried out without medical supervision, put helpless and vulnerable infants at risk.

The problem with circumcision is that doctors here insist now that the operation should not be performed until the baby is six-months-old.
