Economic report – Wealth should be used wisely

Despite the rather cautious approach of the ESRI, the trade union movement wants the country’s anticipated economic good health to be enjoyed on a more equitable basis.

The news from the quarterly report is good, with the first half of the year showing significant improvement in the economy, which will continue into next year.

According to the ESRI, it should be used wisely by the Government and resistance to a spending spree should be the order of the day.
