A review on the Gender Recognition Act wants a suite of changes to help trans, LGBTI+, and non-binary people feel more accepted, writes Moninne Griffith

When the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection set up the review group of the Gender Recognition Act, 2015, I was honoured to be appointed independent chair and grateful for the opportunity to guide and support the expert team of representatives from civil society, academia, social work, youth participation, and relevant Government departments.
