An unlucky voter lost her wedding ring in a ballot box yesterday

One Arklow voter gave away more than her vote yesterday when her engagement ring slipped into a ballot box.

Of course, they couldn’t go digging for it mid-election so she had to wait patiently overnight for the boxes to be opened today at 9am.
