Efficient care by visiting experts

LAST week, along with Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton, I opened the Demonstrator Innovation Hub in University College Cork.

Its purpose is to support more cohesion between our renowned IT industry, our pharmaceutical industry, the development of medical devices, and the frontline of the health services.

It’s worth remembering that the frontline exists not just in hospitals but, just as crucially, in community in primary care settings.
