Divided they stand

BILL CLINTON fixed Enda Kenny with a brooding stare and unleashing his trademark, lop-sided grin announced: “Mr Taoiseach, I bet you don’t agree with everything at Cabinet meetings.

I bet at private meetings you have some hellish arguments. But don’t you see that that’s OK? As long as your goal is to reach agreement?”

Well, Bill was right about the hellish arguments bit but not so hot on the agreements side.
