Pointless exercise in saying nothing can be done

UNSUSPECTING viewers tuning in for their weekly fix of hookers, coke and uzis in RTÉ’s ‘Love/Hate’ must have been somewhat perturbed to find Enda Kenny staring back at them.

His 10-minute state of the nation effort was as wooden as the back drop behind him.

The nation is in a right old state, ok Enda, we get it — move on.
