Last week, a demonstration in Dublin City centre caught my eye.

The quickest version of this story: the former Central Hotel on Exchequer Street was taken over recently by a British group and is now the Hoxton Hotel. Its new leaseholder, Trinity Hospitality, has sought an injunction against a nearby bar-restaurant, Yamamori Izakaya, because, the hotel group says, the music coming from Yamamori Izakaya is so loud and disruptive that 30 of its bedrooms can’t be occupied.
