Someone needs to pass on to Fr Declan McInerney Gaybo’s observation that TV sets come with a button that allows you to turn them off. The Maestro’s point was that TV and its vile personalities don’t actually sneak into your home and beam stuff at you without you asking for it, and that’s still true.

You never know the day nor the hour that it’ll start beaming stuff at you without you asking for it, but currently, you — as the current cliché has it — have agency.
