There’s the richest 1% and there’s the richest 10%. The richest 10% are major contributors to the biggest problem we face in the world, and we’ll talk more about that in a minute. The richest 1%, however, are an obscene scandal.

This is the time of year when we’re all inundated with media reports from Davos. Davos is a town in Switzerland where once a year the rich and famous gather to wring their hands at the plight of the poor and the oppressed, before jetting off home for a bit of wealth creation, or skiing, or whatever they do at this time of year.
