There’s no such thing as good publicity when you win a lottery
It could have been a scene straight out of a film, except that it wasn’t, Farmer Matt Rogers, from the Naul, in north Co Dublin, courteously responded to questions from journalists at his padlocked front gate.
They wanted to know what it was like to be part of a small family syndicate that won €175m in the Lottery. It was, he told them sadly, like being in jail.
