A bigger enemy - Threat from North Korea

THE United States and what it terms its ‘coalition partners’ have not been shy about using military force in the Middle East and southern Asia but it seems to ignore what is probably the greatest threat of all to international security.
A bigger enemy - Threat from North Korea

That threat comes from North Korea which has just test-fired a ballistic missile, which landed 250km off Japan’s coast.

Japan’s prime minister Shinzo Abe condemned it as an outrageous act that posed a serious threat that cannot be tolerated. Given its chequered miliary history, there is probably little that Japan can do to counteract this on its own.

Surely the ‘coalition partners’ should realign their sites on North Korea, a wayward state run by a murderous and mad dictator, who would think nothing of unleashing a nuclear conflict.

The United States and its allies are concentrating on the wrong enemy. That mistake could cost the rest of the world dearly.
