Tom Curran brave but misguided - Introducing the right to die

IN an exclusive interview with the Irish Examiner on Tuesday, the partner of the late right-to-die campaigner Marie Fleming admitted that he has helped dozens of seriously and terminally ill people plan their deaths.

In doing so, Tom Curran has helped highlight the reality that hundreds of people facing prolonged and often painful deaths are secretly arranging to end their lives at a time of their choosing.

Of course, his disclosure is bound to bring him once again to the attention of the gardaí not just into his current activity but also his role in assisting Marie to die in December 2013.
