Lovely Lee looking resplendent in sun

I had not visited Fitzgerald Park in some time, but I did this week and it looked fab with the magnificent landscaping at the front and right of the museum with the beautiful and superbly laid wide walks and the concert platform to the left.

On a warm sunny evening, there were dog walkers and parents with their children and others popping in to enjoy the park.

The river Lee also looked resplendent in the sunshine.

The river definitely looked on this occasion like the song ‘My Own Lovely Lee’.

All that is left to say is that park and river looked superb with the mature trees also looking splendid in full green after a difficult winter.
