Spirits of monks return to save Skellig Michael

Many look upon Skellig Micheal, like Croagh Patrick, as place of pilgrimage.

It is also viewed as monument of man’s capacity to survive in the face of adversity in order to be closer to God.

Some called Disney’s usurpation of the island last year as a desecration of this holy site.

Therefore, and in light of the two recent rockfalls on Skellig Micheal and the consequent curtailment of access onto the island by visitors, is it that the spirits of the monks have returned to banish humans from the island forever in order to preserve the sanctity of their spiritual home.

Beware Disney, you may have unleashed a Force greater than any force you may depict in your productions as you continue your exploits on Ceann Sibeál in West Kerry and Malin Head on the Inishowen Peninsula.
