While listening to Sean O’Rourke interviewing Micheál Martin today I could not believe the cynicism. 
Fianna Fáil are ones to talk about changing tack

He said [...] when Sinn Féin lost the by election to the anti austerity candidate Paul Murphy they changed tack and were against water charges now.

How ironic that when the late Brian Lenihan of Fianna Fáil accepted that water charges had to be implemented as a result of the Troika conditions, that Micheál Martin and the Fianna Fáil party — when they saw the anti water charges brigade gaining momentum — changed their view on Irish Water and water charges.
