Luas salaries perversion of ‘ask and you shall receive’

There is something badly wrong when a Luas driver’s starting salary is almost €36k while skilled gardaí and nurses receive a starting salary of approximately €23k.

A firefighter takes serious risks for almost €25k while an educated primary teacher starts with approximately €27k.

This is totally unacceptable when one considers the number of crashes involving Luas drivers. On top of this, its engineers did not even intersect just two train lines!
