We should be proud of Adi Roche

We should be proud of Adi Roche

We should be less proud, perhaps, of the way we allowed her to be treated during her presidential bid. A good — no, a great — woman was excoriated in the media for the sake of spicing up an otherwise dull election campaign, fatally wounding her chances.

We should be ashamed we allowed it to happen and I would think some form of public apology is in order. Perhaps this can serve in some small way as its beginning.
