Parents of fostered children have a cheek to complain

Parents with children in care have a hell of a cheek to complain about HSE care of their children. Unfit parents in need of foster services are hardly in a position to criticise.

Parents of fostered children have a cheek to complain

As many children can lie, allegations of any abuse in their foster home could be groundless.

Problems in their foster homes could be no worse than the dangers posed to them by their own parents.

This brings me to the recent sentencing of that Galway woman for abuse and neglect of her children. Don’t maternity hospitals see potential social problems from incompetent, drunken mothers?

Society, self-appointed child experts and immature parents need to finally cease their purile rejection of the ‘elephant in the room’.
