We must be careful how we remember the Rising

Remembrance of the Rising requires serious reflection. One aspect that is troubling to me is the (albeit unintentional) justification of violence.

Is it acceptable for a small representative group of people to act in the name of the majority un-mandated and to do so by taking up arms?

Is this the message we are imparting to our young people because if it is, then any fanatical or extremist group might crawl of the woodwork.
