Government policies are destroying our health

Over the last few years it has become increasingly clear why our hospitals are overflowing — government negligence.

The environment is worsening as we allow tons of plastics to be burnt, buried or simply left to rot on our agricultural soil. Ministers for Health, Environment, or Agriculture don’t seem to mind. No minister for health has ever spent more than 1% of his/her budget on health and the resulting illness industry is in thrall to the pharmaceutical industry in its bid to suppress symptoms rather than cure anybody.

I know of no serious effort from any minister for education to teach children about healthy food.

I have just been informed, in writing, that the HSE is responsible for Irish Water putting fluoride — an industrial waste product — into our drinking water. I have never heard any of our Taoisigh showing any interest in the area of a healthy future for the decent taxpaying population.
