I hope I’m wrong, but we’re heading for fiasco

There are comparisons, made in prose and poetry, between the iconic timing of the Irish Rising and the death and resurrection of Christ. In America this week Taoiseach Enda Kenny invoking the colloquial ‘Jaysus’ and his desire “if it is possible, let this cup pass from me”, and we know what happened next.
What will the makeup of the next Dáil? Will it be a Fine Gael minority government with Micheál Martin and Fianna Fáil sniggering in the opposition benches, Gerry Adams and Mary Lou breaching the sound barrier busily haranguing the Ceann Comhairle, while the Dáil ushers rush to replace the Waterford crystal glasses with plastic disposables for fear of what the lively bucks of independents might do?
