Archbishop Martin in the right place at the right time

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin is obviously a decent prelate in the right place and at the right time. Unlike his predecessors, however, who alienated the people with their heavy handed authorianism and hypocrisy, Archbishop Martin comes across as one who wishes to serve rather than its opposite.

This is a refreshing change of attitude given that it is in keeping with the way Christ once said it should be. The future of the Catholic Church here is in safe hands while there are people like Archbishop Martin running the show but beware of those who seek to have him replaced and the old order restored. That would be terrible.

From where I stand the reality about the world in which we live is that from top to bottom nobody knows anything about God and moreover the wisdom of all the ages teaches us that being certain about the existence of any such being or deity is likely to do more harm than good.
