Other motorists need to be conscious of tractors

Car drivers need to slow down when they see agricultural vehicles on our roads. Drivers need to be aware of the vast difference in speed between a tractor and a car.

Any driver who sees a tractor in the distance should immediately slow down.

A tractor could be driving at five miles per hour compared to 80 plus for a car. This is 16 times slower and it needs to be taken into account. Don’t forget farmers need to use the roads as part of their livelihoods too.
