We must change our attitude to planning
The Minister of the Environment early last year mandated a change in the wording of Cork County Council’s development plans giving preference to incineration over other methods.
This encouraged Indaver to apply for a third time to build a municipal/Toxic incinerator on a site that floods (four times in the last 12 years) and erodes, extensively after Storm Frank.
