ALREADY?! Shrove Tuesday has snuck up on us. Usually around now, time slows. There’s no bank holiday to look forward to. It feels like St Patrick’s Day and New Year’s Day are a year apart. New Year’s Day is a complete waste of a bank holiday, anyway.

It might nearly be Lent, but Sundays are sweet

It should be shifted to St Bridget’s day. Having it so soon after Christmas is pointless. Like eating more steak after dessert. You don’t need it and you feel queasy.

But January has flown. Not in a good way. Time was just blown along by all the storms.
