If the boys in green aren’t Irish, I won’t be supporting

I am surprised to read that rugby players, with no Irish relations whatsoever, are now being considered to represent our country in the Six Nations.
If the boys in green aren’t Irish, I won’t be supporting

Do we need these men to wear the Irish jersey? If so I shall no longer be supporting the boys in green.

What encouragement is being given to the schools and clubs who provide the critical coaching in their early days to young boys?

At least when Jack Charlton selected his soccer teams, they had to have Irish grannies! Now rugby players will just have had to reside here for three years.
