No party for ‘No’ voters

Tony Jordan stated that “No voters have no party to turn to in election” because “None of the political parties supported [our] constituency” (Letters, Irish Examiner, January 12).

I find it horrifying that a person would only vote for a party that openly denied the rights of people based on discrimination, ignorance and intransigence to the global evolution of humanity.

To suggest that he has nobody to vote for is an absurdity.

Are the economic, agricultural and industrial policies of all parties not good enough unless they include discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation?

Re-evaluate your morals man, it is always lonely when you are standing on the wrong side of history.

Alternatively you could move to Tehran.
