Promote road safety by parking on pavements
Judging by the huge increase in the number of people driving around with one or two fog-lights on in the middle of the day, I would imagine that fewer drivers have died recently.
But I would like to propose the following law to assist their progress.
Any driver over the age of 60 in a car which is more than 10 years old, and driving at more than 80 kph, may not peel a banana and change a CD at the same time.
Then there is the huge, greatly beneficial increase in the number of cars being parked on pavements out of respect for other drivers.
As soon as this Government has found another few million for a Pavement Safety Authority, life will be nearly perfect.
