This government is making it more difficult for families to reunite

Enda Kenny tweeted:“Reuniting families isn’t a statistic - it’s part of who we are. If you return home this Christmas, consider coming home for good #HomeToWork”

He posted this on the same day that his government rushed a bill through the Dáil which will make it much more difficult for refugee families to reunite.

Michael McNamara, a Labour TD for Clare, was suspended from the parliament chamber when he questioned the methods being used to push through this regressive piece of legislation.
