It has been reported that the Italian Prime Minister’s one million euro a month jet is ‘grounded because no one is qualified to fly it.

Only Italian Air Force Personnel are authorised to fly ‘government’ aircraft and no air force pilot is qualified to fly the aircraft.

Additionally it has now transpired the airports traditionally used for diplomatic arrivals/departures, Roma Ciampino, has runways too narrow for the wingspan of the new aircraft.
