Well done to Waterford from a Cork GAA fan
Waterford management learned a lot from the All-Ireland Final Replay of 2013 when a young Cork team lost to Clare through lack of experience.
Had D. Óg Cusack, Eoin Cadogan, Gardiner and O’Halpín been in the spine of the Cork defence then there would have been no replay.
Even if there was a replay there’s no way that ‘Spine’ would concede five goals.
Were these great hurlers regarded as ‘Rebels’ because of their part in the players strike?
It is comical being a Rebel in Cork - the “Rebel” county.
I’m a hurling man and I just want to state my view of hurling in Cork.
