Homelessness is more complex than just finding somebody a bed

Thank you for highlighting social issues consistently in the Irish Examiner. Homelessness is an issue of great concern and indeed complexity as we see everyday here in Trust.

Trust was the first service of its type when a doctor and nurse visited people sleeping rough in our capital city and was a model for services now in existence.

We meet up to 40 men and women daily, often more than 25 different nationalities, all sleeping rough and many have been for years in spite of numerous types of accommodation made available to them.
