Good to have heritage guardians in Aosdána

I warmly congratulate Imogen Stuart on her entry to Aosdána and I commend her for her candid concern regarding recent filming within the hallowed confines of Sceilig Mhichíl.

It is comforting to know that we have folk like Imogen, who value the intrinsic treasures of a country’s heritage and are not swayed by the ‘dangling carrot’ of power and financial gain.

I question the authorities who are supposed to be in charge of our truly Gaelic relics and shrines
