Army officers on TV failing to set an example

On Monday I settled down to watch the TV documentary Recruits.

I must say I was concerned at what I saw as the arrogant, foulmouthed, overbearing behaviour of kunior non-commissioned officers (NCOs).

The foul-mouthed behaviour of the young second-lieutenant was no credit to his service.

I do not believe they are representative of the NCO and officers of the Irish Defence Forces, whom I have met and worked with abroad over many years.
